Hosting
When your website is designed, it will need to be uploaded to high performance
servers so that the world can look at it using your domain name.
You'll also need one or more email addresses setting up so people can contact
you at your new domain name.
We'll handle all of this for you. We register your chosen domain name, create
the webspace you need on our servers, upload your site and create your email
addresses. We even regularly back up your site and mail and ensure that all of
your mail is scanned for viruses and spam.
This quality of service is something we are proud of. We can not guarantee it if
our sites are hosted on non-Myrddin servers and this may reflect badly on us. As
such, we do not design sites for placement on other servers: hosting with
Myrddin is essential.
Pricing
There's a "mystique" about hosting: it's undeniably difficult for the average
web user to understand and near impossible for the home user or small business
to set up themselves. We believe that, because of this, some design companies
charge a small fortune for it. To us, hosting is right up there with printer
ink: you know you need to have it but it's never going to be a prized
possession. You want to put your money into the printer, not the ink: into the
website not the hosting.
That's why, despite the fact that we take hosting very seriously and can
guarantee you an advanced and secure hosting experience, we charge an almost
negligible price for it:
- £5.00 per month by subscription.
You may cancel this at any time and are never "tied in" to a contract with us.
